Janes awarded Gold status in the UK’s Defence Employer Recognition Scheme

Janes has been awarded Gold status in the United Kingdom’s Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) – the highest level of recognition in this initiative, which encourages employers to support defence and inspire others to do the same.

This prestigious award builds on the Silver status Janes received in 2024, acknowledging the additional initiatives introduced over the past year to further support the armed forces community as part of its broader Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives.

Janes supports the armed forces community through a range of people-focused initiatives, including volunteering opportunities, support for armed forces-related charities, an internal armed forces affinity group, and ‘Lunch and Learn’ sessions,  which offer insights into how our colleagues apply their military experience in their roles and how their service intersects with life at Janes.

With this Gold status, Janes reaffirms its commitment to championing the defence and armed forces community, and will continue to align the company’s values with the Armed Forces Covenant and advocate for meaningful support across the industry.
