Boeing has augmented its offering for Poland's potential requirement for a twin-engine combat air platform with a collaborative combat aircraft (CCA) capability at the MSPO 2025 exhibition in Kielce, Poland, running from 2 to 5 September.
The US-based company promoted the F-15EX Eagle II to Poland's Ministry of National Defence (MND) as part of ‘Team Eagle' alongside General Electric, BAE Systems, and Raytheon at MSPO 2024.. At this year's event, the company chose to also promote its MQ-28 Ghost Bat CCA, which officials suggested could help satisfy Polish requirements for “affordable mass”.
Speaking at a media roundtable at MSPO 2025, Boeing's senior director, international Business Development, Tim Flood, confirmed the MQ-28 (developed by Boeing Defence Australia and the Commonwealth of Australia) had already conducted “hundreds” of test flights. He went onto note air-to-air weapons testing was scheduled to take place in the next 12 months in addition to manned-unmanned teaming (MUM-T) with a manned combat aircraft in 2026.
