Taiwan company Gus Technology is set to deliver its Bolt-300 loitering munition to an undisclosed customer in the region, officials confirmed to Janes at the Taipei Aerospace & Defense Technology Exhibition (TADTE) 2025, which ended on 20 September.
Speaking to Janes, a company official said Gus Technology will export 200 units of the Bolt-300 loitering munition in November to a military customer in Southeast Asia, but declined to name the customer.
The official confirmed that the overall weight of the Bolt-300 is 6 kg and that it can carry a 2 kg payload. The loitering munition is fitted with a 1,080 pixel camera for surveillance and has an endurance of 10–15 minutes.
According to Gus Technology, the munition can autonomously fly to GPS waypoints. It supports both manual and automatic target locking and has been integrated with artificial intelligence (AI) image-recognition technology, about which the company did not elaborate.
The company added that the munition has foldable wings, allowing it to be launched from a portable tube that can be carried in a backpack.
