Triman Industries buys distributors Brighton Cromwell, CTG
US military parts distributor Triman Industries has increased its size and capabilities by acquiring Brighton Cromwell and Crestwood Technology Group (CTG), according to US private equity firm AE Industrial Partners (AEI), which owns Triman.
The combined company has about 200 employees and more than 120,000 sq ft (11,148 m 2 ) of facility space, allowing it to âsupport a large and growing group of supply chain partners and military customers with highly customised solutionsâ, AEI said on 5 January.
Brighton Cromwell, which is headquartered in Morristown, New Jersey, provides parts for âa wide variety of tactical military vehicles, aircraft, and naval systemsâ, AEI said. CTG, which is based in Yonkers, New York, âspecialises in sourcing obsolete and hard-to-find parts across a broad range of air, ground, sea, cyber, and space domainsâ.
Triman acquired Brighton Cromwell and CTG from their founders, who will remain in leadership roles and will own âsignificantâ stakes in the combined company. Financial terms of the deals were not disclosed.
Military parts manufacturer BC Engineered Products, a division of Brighton Cromwell, was carved out and remains owned by founders Rob Van Etten and Glenn Van Etten.
