Skana Robotics will launch its new Alligator autonomous amphibious vehicle by early 2026, the company told Janes in November 2025, with the system joining the Stingray autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) and Bull Shark autonomous surface vehicle (ASV) in the company's product line.

Founded in 2023, Israel-based Skana Robotics officially unveiled its first two autonomous maritime vehicles at the Defence and Security Equipment International (DSEI) exhibition in London in September 2025. The Bull Shark ASV is designed for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) operations; interdiction; and rapid response. It has a speed of 50 kt, a range of 120 n miles, and can carry a payload of 150 kg.

The Stingray AUV, meanwhile, enables a persistent presence in complex underwater terrain, according to the company; capable of carrying a range of payloads including sonar, it can reach a depth of 300 m, has a range of 45 n miles, a speed of 12 kt, and a payload capacity of 15 kg.

The newest vehicle, the Alligator, is an amphibious platform designed to deliver logistics, sensors, and personnel between water and land; it has a maximum speed of 40 kt, a range of 300 n miles, and a payload of 1,500 kg.

Idan Levy, co-founder and CEO of Skana Robotics, told Janes in November that the company is planning an operational demonstration of the Alligator in quarter one of 2026, with the platform subsequently available for acquisition.
