Boeing Defense, Space & Security announced that it is partnering with Palantir to bring its artificial intelligence (AI) software to Boeing's factories and programmes on 23 September during the Air and Space Forces Association's (AFA's) Air, Space, and Cyber Conference 2025 in National Harbor, Maryland.
“Using Palantir's Foundry platform, we will apply AI-driven data analytics to advance and streamline our defence production and information technology environments,” Steve Parker, CEO for Boeing Defense, Space & Security, said during an event announcing the partnership.
The Foundry platform “leverages AI to unify complex and disparate systems under a streamlined and intuitive user interface”, noted a Boeing statement on 23 September.
Palantir is also providing “AI expertise and capabilities” for classified and proprietary projects “supporting military customers' most sensitive missions”, according to the statement.
“Boeing Defense, Space & Security operates more than a dozen production lines manufacturing military aircraft, helicopters, satellites, space craft, missiles, and weapons, and our partnership with Palantir … will help standardise data analytics and insight across our geographically dispersed family of defence factories,” Parker said, adding that this would “improve operations, speed production, and further support vital missions worldwide”.
“When we apply AI thoughtfully, we believe we strengthen our ability to delivery quality and reliability, as well as innovations,” he said. “This partnership is about empowering our teams with the right systems and tools, so they can make better, faster decisions.”
