Arquus did not allow photographs of its MAV'Rx prototype to be taken at Eurosatory 2024, but published a promotional photograph showing the vehicle equipped with a CPWS unmanned turret mounted on the roof. (Arquus)

Arquus displayed a prototype of its new MAV'Rx 4×4 protected patrol vehicle (PPV) in a private area of the Eurosatory 2024 defence exhibition held from 17 to 21 June in Paris.

Joan Gibert, director of Product Strategy and Services at Arquus, told Janes on 19 June that the MAV'Rx was developed using company funding to fill a gap in Arquus' product portfolio. While Arquus already produced wheeled PPVs that are suitable for use in low-intensity warfare and counter-insurgency roles, the heavier MAV'Rx has sufficient payload to carry heavier weapon systems, enabling it to provide direct fire support for its dismounts.

With a gross vehicle weight (GVW) of 19 tonnes, the MAV'Rx is 6.98 m long and 2.55 m wide. Its height is listed as 2.73 m, although this is measured to the top of the roof and does not include the extra height added by weapon stations or turrets mounted on top of the vehicle.
