Poland's WB Group unveiled its Future Task Force (FTF) concept – a modular, mechanised platoon capable of performing manned and unmanned teaming operations, at the MSPO 2025 exhibition in Poland in September.
The FTF platoon is built around an armoured command vehicle and three wheeled platforms, which can be deployed either with a crew or in an autonomous mode. These vehicles resemble compact 4×4 offroad carriers, which are capable of carrying various mission modules.
Each FTF vehicle can be outfitted with specialised payloads. Three variants were displayed: FTF ZMU Remote Weapon Module (Zdalnie moduł uzbrojenia: ZMU), integrating the AREX ZMU-05 remote weapon system (RWS); FTF MN, equipped with lightweight scatterable mine dispensers for MN-123 mines (or equivalents); and FTF WM (Warmate), fitted with launchers for the Warmate TL (Tube Launched) family of unmanned systems, including the TL-R reconnaissance and TL-C loitering munition versions.
The system offers target detection and engagement at ranges of up to 50 km, while also supporting fire missions, evacuation, patrol, logistics, and other battlefield tasks, the company said.
