The second ship F Jerônimo de Albuquerque (F201) is set to be launched in June, and the keel-laying of the third vessel F Cunha Moreira (F202) is slated for July, the Director of the Navy Programs Management Directorate (DGePM), Rear Admiral Marcelo da Silva Gomes, told Janes in an interview on 27 January.

The first-of-class ship F Tamandaré (F200) displacing 3,455 tonnes and measuring 107.2 m in length is scheduled to be commissioned by Surface Force Command in December 2025, Adm Silva Gomes said.

Adm Silva Gomes said that the commissioning of F Jerônimo de Albuquerque is scheduled for January 2027. The launch of F Cunha Moreira is planned for July 2026 with the commissioning in February 2028, he added.

The keel-laying of the last ship planned for the class, F Marriz e Barros (F203), is scheduled for October 2026, with the launch in November 2027 and commissioning in February 2029, Adm Silva Gomes said.
