The Euroatlas Greyshark Bravo autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) has participated in NATO's Exercise ‘REPMUS 25' (Robotic Experimentation and Prototyping with Maritime Unmanned Systems) for the first time following its unveiling in November 2024. The AUV's participation in ‘REPMUS' follows sea trials undertaken in July.

Greyshark was demonstrated off the coast of Sesimbra, Portugal, to assembled media, including Janes, embarked on the Portuguese Navy Viana Do Castelo (NPO 2000)-class offshore patrol vessel Figueira Da Foz (P 361) on 23 September 2025. The AUV, moving just below the surface, deployed its telescopic mast, which features an in-built military radio to enable communications with its operator or other units. The Greyshark was demonstrated alongside EvoLogics' Sonobot 5 unmanned surface vehicle (USV) and Quadroin AUV, the latter of which served as the basis for the design of the larger Greyshark.

Commander Andreas Montag, head of the German Navy's Mine Warfare Working Group and Naval Mine Warfare Tasking Authority at ‘REPMUS', told Janes during a briefing that “here at naval mine warfare, the Greyshark was the largest vehicle. It was running in the underwater warfare group as well but it was mainly operated here in the naval mine warfare” group. Cdr Montag said that due to the small operational size of the area off Sesimbra, the Greyshark could complete a survey of the area in three to four hours. Nevertheless, he said, systems such as the Greyshark “are capable sensors which were working here, and they can do a lot of work”. In the mine warfare role, the Greyshark can detect mines using an artificial intelligence (AI)-based automatic target recognition system.
