The Turkish Navy conducted its ‘Denizkurdu-II 2025' (‘Sea Wolf 2 2025') national live-firing naval exercise between 6 and 17 May 2025. The exercise was held in all seas surrounding Türkiye.

One of the highlights of the exercise was an Atmaca anti-ship missile firing on 10 May. This event took place in the Black Sea near the city of Sinop. During the drill, the Ada-class corvette TCG Kınalıada fired one Atmaca missile at the decommissioned Doğan-class fast attack craft Martı . This was the first such firing since the missile was officially commissioned into the Turkish Navy in 2022.

Another important achievement was the use of the Bayraktar TB3 unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV) from TCG Anadolu for combat missions for the first time. According to the exercise scenario, two TB3 UCAVs – prototypes 3 and 4 – took off from Anadolu, each armed with two MAM-L lightweight smart micro munitions, and struck a target on Devecitaşı Island in the exercise area near the city of Antalya. The TB3s later landed on Anadolu . The live-fire test marked the first shipborne strike by the Bayraktar TB3 UCAV from aboard Anadolu.
