Pakistan's Global Industrial & Defence Solutions (GIDS) presented a model of its Fatah Guided Multi Launch Rocket System (GMLRS) at the International Defence Industry Fair (IDEF) 2025 held in Istanbul from 22 to 27 July. The model was an 8×8 multilaunch vehicle (MLV) with a pod for four Fatah-I 301 mm guided rockets and a pod for a 600 mm Fatah-II guided rocket.

A GIDS representative told Janes on 25 July that development of the system had been completed and that it was in Pakistani service. He added that GIDS was looking for international partners for the system.

Fatah-II is a surface-to-surface GMLRS with two pods for the oblique launch of a non-ballistic, all-course manoeuvre supersonic weapon system with a 365 kg warhead with a range of 100–290 km and a circular error probable (CEP) less than 50 m in salvo or non-salvo mode. With a length of 7.5 m, it is powered by a single-stage, dual-thrust solid rocket motor with a programmable trajectory, in-flight manoeuvrability, and guidance until impact, with integrated navigation – an inertial navigation system (INS) and global navigation satellite services (GNSS). It has an auto aiming, levelling, positioning, and orientation system.
