Ben Cahill
Ben Cahill is a Nonresident Senior Fellow at the Atlantic Council’s Global Energy Center, based in Washington, DC. He is Director of Energy Markets and Policy at the University of Texas at Austin’s Center for Energy and Environmental Systems Analysis. Ben covers geopolitics and macro trends affecting the oil and gas industry, with a focus on energy security. Ben was previously a Senior Fellow in the Energy Security and Climate Change Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), with a special focus on global gas and LNG as well as methane policy and regulations. Before CSIS, Ben worked at Energy Intelligence and at PFC Energy (now part of S&P Global) in Washington, DC, and Kuala Lumpur. He is a regular contributor at Barron's.
