In addition, Miko is the lead Russia analyst for Janes Special Forces content, and provides data and analysis of the Russian special forces, including an assessment of their multi-domain capabilities, force structure, recent deployments, tasks, operations, and key procurement initiatives. Miko was formerly the principal research analyst and editor of Janes Infantry Weapons, covering military infantry weapons that are in development, production, and service with armies and paramilitary organisations worldwide.
